BEMC CHALLENGE

In Support of the Terry Fox Foundation

2009 was a fabulous year and I want to thank all who participated. Your support enabled the BEMC Challenge to finish 3rd in the Clarington team challenge.The Clarington (Bowmanville) total was 8th in all of Ontario, raising $77,400. for Cancer Research

Good work everyone.

Once again in 2010 we will be raising funds for the Terry Fox Foundation at our Indian Summer Trophy races. So if you want to sponsor a driver in our War Bonnet Enduro or just make a donation to this very worthwhile cause, your support is appreciated.

I havel posted a link to the online pledging below. You can join our team, which I hope you will do, or just make a pledge to the BEMC Challenge. You can get cash donations, pledges per lap that you compete in either the War Bonnet Enduro or even just the number of laps that you complete over the weekend. We will also be holding another silent auction in the Castrol tower over the whole weekend so come by and make a bid on some unique items that will be up for auction.

This year I will also be hosting the 1st Annual Walk A Lap For Terry. We will walk a lap of Mosport International Raceway Sunday morning of the Indian Summer Trophy Races beginning at 7:00 am.

Get your family and friends together for this walk around one of the most famous natural terrain road courses in the world. We will leave the Grid area promptly at 7:00 am so that we can all complete the walk before racing begins on Sunday. This is also a great opportunity for you to raise money and awareness for The Terry Fox Foundation.

Pledge sheets are available for you to raise funds and you can hand them in at the track. Bring out as many people as you want to take part in this fun event. It goes rain or shine. Due to insurance reasons we will not be able to host inline skaters or bikers. This is a walk, jog or run event only.
